Smart Writer / Communicator Wanted - e-Interview

Our goals for this hire:

  1. Our #1 need: Communicate how SwiftCRM / SwiftCloud can help small business owners. We are becoming something like "sh0pify for services", an all-in-one platform for plumbing, pilates teachers, auto mechanics, real estate agents - anyone who sells services specifically (not really retail or brick and mortar businesses). Think CRM, appointment scheduling software, eDocs, task and project management - a work platform. We need to develop a lot of assets for this.
  2. We expect the marketing team to be at about 3-5 people within 6 months, and 10 people by mid next year.
  3. We also need you to be able to intake some "boring" media: help videos, help support articles + short video from Roger, the founder talking about some new features periodically and update assets, or for major releases we'll create new suite of assets.
  4. A typical "kit" might be 1 sales page + 3 blog articles + some ad campaigns
  5. Our goal is also this role turns into Communications Lead, overseeing social media / community, ad variations, and one assistant writer, however, this is a very hands-on role requiring a lot out writing - not just management.
  6. There's room for growth. Budgets are tight initially, but as we win more subscribers, we can loosen up the budgets, offer performance bonuses, travel and other fun. None of that is possible until we're a bit further along.
  7. All work is remote, results focused, work whenever you like.

      Note we generally start people on paid test projects first, then hire on a probationary basis which then leads to permanent hires. Coders start on a fingernail, then a finger, then a hand, then an arm before proceeding to open heart surgery. When possible, we like coders to "own" a project and so whenever practical and possible once proven, we'll have you focus entirely on a product, usually new, so you will not spend a lot of time reading someone else's code, but instead writing your own.
